Dianne Jackson
Director, Franchise & Affiliate — TDC
Dianne is an accomplished senior leader with over 30 years of experience in the Canadian travel industry, spanning multiple sectors, including tour operations, retail travel agencies, travel insurance, and travel technology. She has held board positions with Skal Toronto, the IATA Agency Passenger Joint Council, and the Sustainable Development Committee for Signature Vacations.
Throughout her career, Dianne has held progressive leadership roles, including Vice President, Commercial & Retail at Merit Travel/Red Label Vacations; Vice President, Retail at Red Label Vacations (redtag.ca, iTravel2000.com, and The Travel Experts); Director of Sales at Signature Vacations; Director of Business Development at SellOffVacations; Director of Product Development at CAA Club Group; and Director of Sales – Canada for Allianz Assistance. Additionally, she served as Canada Account Executive for Expedia Affiliate Network. In 2020, she launched her own business, Reps4Rent, before joining Transat Distribution Canada (TDC). Earlier in her career, Dianne also owned a retail travel agency and co-owned a chain of bargain centers.
Dianne is a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) and holds an Executive Sales certificate from the Schulich School of Business. She has earned diplomas in both Travel & Tourism and Adult Education/Facilitation from Seneca College and holds a certificate in Mental Health in the Workplace from Queen’s University. A recognized industry speaker, she was a keynote speaker for ACTA Atlantic in 2007 and is a certified facilitator for Exceptional Sells…No Exceptions by Stuart Ellis Myers – Uniquely Speaking.
As a breast cancer survivor, Dianne is deeply committed to fundraising and advocacy. Alongside her travel industry colleagues, “The Healthy Hooters,” she has helped raise over $130,000 in support of cancer research. She also contributed her personal story to Perspectives on Cancer: Stories of Healing, Hope & Resilience by Tim Sohn.
In her current role at Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), Dianne enjoys working closely with franchisees and affiliate members across Canada (outside of Quebec), partnering with them to build their agency business.
Duncan Pattillo
Duncan Pattillo is a hospitality, tourism, and travel leader with nearly two decades of experience spanning airlines, luxury cruise lines, rail, tourism, and destination management. Throughout his career, he has been passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while building high-performing teams and meaningful industry partnerships.
His career has included leadership roles with organizations such as Princess Cruises, The World, Rocky Mountaineer, WestJet Vacations and Base31, where he has led customer experience, operations, programming, and strategic initiatives across North America and internationally. His experience ranges from luxury expedition cruising around the world to large-scale tourism operations, giving him a unique perspective on both the guest journey and the people who deliver it.
Duncan believes that the future of the travel industry depends on strong leadership, collaboration, and investing in the next generation of professionals. He is passionate about mentoring emerging talent, sharing practical leadership experience, and helping individuals build rewarding and sustainable careers in travel and tourism.
Now based in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Duncan serves as Director of Programming & Events at Base31, where he leads year-round programming, festivals, and visitor experiences at one of Canada’s fastest-growing cultural destinations. He is honoured to work with TIME and looks forward to supporting the travel community through mentorship, professional development, and industry connection.
Emma McCormick
General Manager – North America, Chimu Adventures
Emma McCormick has spent almost 15 years building a career in the travel industry after a 2 year backpacking adventure unexpectedly led to her first travel sales role in 2012. Since then, she has worked across inbound and outbound touring, wholesaling, and expedition cruising, with experience spanning sales leadership, product and operations management and general management across three continents.
Now based in Toronto, Emma is the General Manager – North America for Chimu Adventures, where she leads the company’s growth across Canada and the United States. She is passionate about adventure travel, with much of her career focused on Latin America and the Polar Regions.
Emma is uniquely connected to the TIME community, having participated as a mentee in New Zealand, been involved with the program in Australia, and now serving as both a mentor and committee member in Canada. Having benefited greatly from mentorship throughout her own career, she is passionate about helping others build confidence, recognize their strengths, and navigate the many opportunities the travel industry offers.
She is excited to give back to an industry that has provided incredible experiences, lifelong friendships, and a truly global career, and looks forward to supporting the next generation of travel professionals on their own journeys.
Jeff Element
Chief Operating Officer, Major Host Travel Agency Group
Jeff Element is the Chief Operating Officer for a major host travel agency group, where he leads day to day activity, operational strategy, and organizational development. With more than three decades of experience in the travel sector, Jeff has held senior roles including President of The Travel Corporation in Canada, guiding a diverse collection of global travel brands.
Jeff is a CPA with a strong foundation in finance and a passion for helping organizations grow through strategic planning, innovation, and people-focused leadership. Over the years, he has become recognized for his insight into tourism trends and consumer spending patterns, as well as his ability to build resilient, high-performing teams.
He has a long history of industry service, including ten years on the TICO Board of Directors and serving as past Chair of CATO. Jeff is committed to mentorship, professional development, and supporting the next generation of leaders in the travel and tourism community.
He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto.
Nathalie Guay
Candidate – TIME Canada Chapter Committee
A highly respected and influential leader in the Canadian travel industry, Nathalie Guay brings over two decades of strategic expertise, relationship building, and market development at the highest levels.
For 23 years, Nathalie played a pivotal role at Ensemble Travel Group, where she served as Senior Director, Business Development – Canada. In this capacity, she was instrumental in expanding the organization’s footprint across Quebec and the broader Canadian market, cultivating strong partnerships with travel agencies, consortia, and key industry stakeholders. Her ability to connect people, inspire growth, and drive results positioned her as a trusted voice and a recognized figure within the industry.
Building on this success, Nathalie was recruited as General Manager of the Association des Tours Opérateurs du Québec (ATOQ), where she further strengthened her leadership profile by uniting tour operators and advancing collective industry interests. Her tenure reinforced her reputation as a collaborative leader with a deep understanding of the travel ecosystem.
Most recently, Nathalie has been appointed to lead the development of the Canadian market for OCEAN Signature Resorts by H10. In this role, she continues to demonstrate her expertise in brand expansion, strategic partnerships, and innovative go-to-market initiatives, elevating brand visibility and engagement across Canada.
Recognized for her dynamic leadership style and her passion for mentorship, Nathalie has consistently acted as a catalyst for growth—supporting travel advisors, fostering meaningful industry connections, and championing excellence across all sectors of the travel landscape.
With her extensive experience, strong industry presence, and commitment to developing future talent, Nathalie Guay is uniquely positioned to contribute to the success of the TIME Canada Chapter. Her vision aligns seamlessly with TIME’s mission to inspire, mentor, and elevate the next generation of travel industry leaders.
Shawna Little Calderwood
Shawna Calderwood is a Canadian travel industry leader with more than 20 years of experience in destination marketing, strategic partnerships, luxury travel, and international business development.
Throughout her career, Shawna has worked across Canada’s tourism industry, leading partnerships with travel advisors, airlines, tour operators, and destination organizations to grow visitation and strengthen Canada’s presence in global markets. She has also worked extensively with the international travel trade, developing market strategies and building long-term industry relationships.
Today, as the founder of Lavish Adventure Travel, Shawna specializes in luxury adventure travel, creating bespoke itineraries for travellers seeking immersive experiences without compromising on comfort. Her approach combines thoughtful trip design, trusted local partnerships, and a commitment to responsible tourism to deliver exceptional journeys.
Having benefited from exceptional mentors throughout her career, Shawna is passionate about supporting the next generation of travel professionals. She is proud to serve on the TIME Canada Committee, helping foster mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth across the Canadian travel industry.
Sheralyn Berry
Director of Commercial Sales, Destination America
Sheralyn Berry is an accomplished commercial executive with more than 25 years of experience in the global travel and tourism industry. Her career includes serving as President of Contiki Canada and General Manager, Americas for HX Expeditions, as well as senior leadership roles with Kensington Tours and Destination America. She has led businesses across North America, managed global commercial teams and built high-performing organizations focused on growth, innovation and exceptional customer experiences.
Sheralyn is equally passionate about developing people and future leaders. Mentorship has played a defining role in her own career, and she credits the guidance of exceptional mentors with helping her build confidence, pursue new opportunities and grow as a leader.
Committed to paying that support forward, Sheralyn has helped lead The Travel Corporation’s global mentorship program and currently mentors through Toronto Metropolitan University. As a mentor and committee member with TIME Canada, she is passionate about helping emerging professionals navigate challenges, recognize their strengths and build the foundation they need to succeed.
Steve Farrelly
Steve Farrelly has spent more than 20 years working across almost every corner of the travel industry — from retail travel and tour operations to technology, consulting and entrepreneurship. Along the way, he has built lasting partnerships, launched new ventures and developed a genuine passion for helping both people and businesses reach their potential.
Today, Steve splits his time between strategic consulting with travel tech brands, co-founding Rockies by Rail Vacations, and heavily participating in the launch of TIME Canada. His work continues to centre on connecting people, building partnerships and helping travel businesses grow.
Steve’s connection with TIME is deeply personal. Having participated in the Australian program as a mentee, he credits the experience as a turning point in his career. He later returned as a mentor, finding just as much fulfilment in helping others navigate their own professional journeys.
Steve is one of the few people to have experienced TIME from every angle — as a mentee, mentor, Australian committee member and now as an inaugural committee member for TIME Canada. Having seen first-hand the impact mentoring can have on a career, he is passionate about ensuring the next generation of travel professionals has access to the same opportunities that helped shape his own.
Steve believes the travel industry is built on relationships, generosity and paying knowledge forward. Through TIME Canada, he is committed to creating opportunities for emerging leaders to build confidence, expand their networks and develop rewarding, long-term careers in travel.
Edith Beaudoin
Country Program Manager, TIME Canada
Edith Beaudoin is the Country Program Manager for TIME Canada, leading the launch and development of the Travel Industry Mentor Experience in Canada. A senior commercial leader with over 20 years in the travel industry, Edith has built and led North American sales functions for some of the world’s most respected premium and expedition travel brands — growing markets from the ground up, developing high-performing teams, and building the trade relationships that sustain long-term industry success.
Throughout her career, Edith has been as committed to developing people as she has been to driving results. She has mentored and coached teams at every stage of her professional life, and has tutored both students and adults in languages alongside her day job — a reflection of a long-standing belief that sharing knowledge is one of the most meaningful things you can do. When she discovered TIME, bringing the program to Canada felt like a natural next step.
Originally from Quebec and based in Vancouver, Edith is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. A certified PADI Divemaster and ocean conservation volunteer who has travelled all seven continents, she brings to TIME Canada not only deep industry experience and an extensive network across the Canadian and North American travel community, but a genuine passion for the kind of mentorship that changes careers — and keeps our industry strong.
